I'm all re-intrigued recently by the idea of a shared pup -- a pup or whatever split either between two people or the more traditional tabletop 'NPC that anyone can use.' If done right, they take on an identity between players, convalescence from different interpretations into a single whole. It'd be really interesting, even just to watch.
