So, at the end of last month my parents get back home on s Saturday and are basically like 'Hey guess what, we bought a new house!' About that level of casual...ness and everything. It's a vacation home in Atlantic City, NJ. The vacation home part was made obvious to me shortly, I got told where it was last week. I was obviously pleased, but if I have been scarce in the past week it's because we had to get all that worked out, bring furniture up, move in, and do all those nice things.



It's a gated community, most of our neighbors are retired and have been living here full time since it was built. They are very nice and friendly! Hopefully can manage not to make them things of me as too much 'one of those teenagers.' Walls are soundproofed, that should help.

Found the nearest porn store before I'd even seen where I'd be living, just like in Sarasota. Have been living in King of Prussia eighteen years and don't know where to find the porn store even though it advertises on the radio. (Not actually planning on buying from them, it's just fun to find 'em!)

Having spent the week before being told about this in a two bedroom, 1 1 1/2 townhouse with seven people, I can't help but notice that this is a two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with a comfortable sleep capacity of nine. Wild parties may ensue some day. The walls ARE soundproofed.

I am so happy to have vacation opportunities here. Beach is nice and all, but given that I will be going to college in Florida I'll be getting quite enough over the next four years. But like, so much stuff to at casions. Shiny. Concerts. Guh. Concerts. Need to be 21 to enjoy most of it, but hey, the next few summers I'll be spending either catching up at home or doing programs/internships/abroad anyway.
